And what do their mechanics care about? Looking cool, of course. And having equipment that does what they need it to do.
Influence
We developed a targeted print branding campaign that runs in the appropriate trade publications. The photography and graphic design were designed to communicate strength and reliability in the best vehicle-mounted crane you can buy. Period. The key collateral then is a product catalog that echoes that message.
Impact
As a result of Littlefield’s media relations efforts on Auto Crane’s behalf, and from the relationships that have been established with key editors of trade publications, Auto Crane has seen a significant increase in those editors seeking information from the company as an industry expert; the company has seen a jump in the number of editorial opportunities for product information and releases, and has been included in feature articles on industry trends. Holding meetings with key editors at trade shows has brought Auto Crane top-of-mind with editors seeking information and expertise in the service truck and utility industry, and has brought them an invitation to speak at the Utility Products Conference in February 2009.
