The Y has a variety of perceptions surrounding it, from nostalgia to old socks to the Village People. In truth, the YMCA of Greater Tulsa is a vibrant, professional organization that runs eight facilities, administers more than 100 different programs and benefits more than 90,000 people annually.

Their gyms compete with all the bright, shiny and new workout facilities springing up all over the Tulsa area. Given the existing perceptions of the Y, we had to find their positive differentiator. It wasn't cost.

It was an open and charitable nature.

The people who love the Y, members and employees alike, share a consistent characteristic. They genuinely care about others.

Our work tries to reflect that.

From a slew of print materials to print ads, including a bright, shiny and new website at ymcatulsa.org.

Impact
One of the first campaigns launched against this platform was Healthy for the Holidays, a campaign where we made it easy for those hoping to stave off the typical 7 lb weight gain over the holidays. Over 1000 joined the campaign, 600 of them non-members. Our client was delighted with the response for this first-time-ever event and now has the opportunity to show the benefit of a Y membership to the 600 newbies who took part in the campaign.
